You’ve mentioned Bulgaria as a rising IT hub in Europe. What are some of the advantages and challenges you’ve experienced while operating in Bulgaria’s tech ecosystem, and how do you foresee the future of the IT industry in the region?

Operating in Bulgaria has provided Voidweb with a highly skilled talent pool at competitive costs, especially in software development and UI/UX design. Bulgaria’s strong educational system, particularly in technical fields, and its growing tech ecosystem make it a compelling choice for IT companies. However, as Bulgaria gains recognition as a tech hub, competition for top talent intensifies, and infrastructure needs continuous improvement to keep pace with demand. Your values place a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation. How do you foster a culture of curiosity and initiative within your team, and can you share an example of how this has led to a breakthrough or improved service?

At Voidweb, we foster a culture of curiosity and initiative by encouraging our team members to continuously explore new technologies and ideas during their projects. We create a supportive environment where team members can propose innovative solutions based on their individual research and interests. This approach leads to constant improvement in our processes and services. One example we can give is related to our UI/UX design team. During a client project, one designer proposed a new approach to improve user engagement by utilising dynamic content and personalised user interfaces. This idea stemmed from their research into user behaviour and current design trends. After implementing this strategy, the client saw a noticeable increase in user interaction and time spent on their platform.

Voidweb’s focus on both clients and employees highlights the human aspect of your work. How do you maintain a balance between meeting client demands and ensuring the well-being of your employees in such a fast-paced industry?

Our company ensures that client demands are met while employee well-being is not compromised by offering flexible working hours and supporting mental health initiatives. Regular check-ins with team members help monitor workload and stress levels. This balance allows Voidweb to maintain high productivity and meet client expectations without sacrificing the well-being of its employees, which is crucial in the fast-paced IT industry. We believe that our employees’ well-being is related to both their individual and company success.
