Love swimming? Gadgets to take with you on the beach

While we are in the middle of the Summer, I had a quick chat with Kiki Michailidou, Certified Swimming Trainer for adults and children, about what she is suggesting to take with us on our beach holidays.

  • Swim Belt: heart rate monitor made especially for swimmers. It is made of soft fabric for maximum comfort, and you wear it on your chest without any problems for as long as the exercise lasts.
  • Smartwatch for swimming lets you keep track of your time while in the water.
  • Smart goggles give you live metrics of your distance, time, pace, and how many calories you are burning, all in front of you in a blink of an eye.
  • Waterproof Mp3 for swimming. If you want to listen to your favorite tune, why not take your water-resistant earphones with you.
  • Diving scooter. You want to be more adventurous and discover the ocean. Try a diving scooter, which will make your swimming easier.

Kiki also put our attention to safety issues:

“The safety issue for children and adults is to swim parallel to the shore. Be careful of what you eat and drink before entering the sea! Children can use helping equipment for swimming, such as flap boards, swimming bricks, and flippers, as well as SwimFin, which is the shark fin and adjusts well to the child’s body. It also helps them to float and learn how to swim. Ensure they always swim under your supervision when you are with children.”
