PICO, a leading Virtual Reality brand that devotes a great deal of attention to independent research and development, unveils at the Laval Virtual Trade fair in France, the PICO G3, an All-in-One 3DoF VR visor that delivers even higher performance and is equipped with features designed to meet the growing needs of businesses: a vivid display, larger battery capacity and higher refresh rate. In addition, the G3 is powered by the new PICO operating system that ensures business continuity and allows for a more realistic experience within the virtual world.
PICO G3 is designed specifically for enterprises, meeting the needs of a wide range of customers from different sectors, including education, healthcare, training and marketing. Created for 3DoF business applications, the G3 is one of the first visors to adopt the XR2 chipset, which enables faster speed and a smoother experience. 3Dof detection ensures easy, fast and scalable access to immersive content, allowing the visor and technology to be used by multiple users at the same time, for example, in a classroom environment or at an event.
The PICO G3 headset will be available through the PICO Enterprise Channel at a suggested retail price of EUR 399. A whole new level of performance
The PICO G3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 processor with 128GB of memory and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, enabling faster speed and a smoother experience. The visor also runs the latest version of PICO OS, which offers a more user-friendly interface to make interacting with the operating system easier, especially for those without experience with Virtual Reality. The considerable capacity of the 5300 mAh battery, which is compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, allows the headset to run applications for several hours without interruption, thus ensuring maximum operational reliability in different business scenarios.
PICO G3 has simplified account access by allowing users to quickly launch applications without registering one, thus making the deployment of the visor faster and more accessible for the company. In addition, PICO G3 has an enterprise SDK that provides low-level APIs to control the visor and implement advanced features. The enterprise SDK supports software development with Unity, Unreal, OpenXR and WebXR. Customers already using PICO 3Dof are guaranteed compatibility with the G3 through the SDK on their devices.

The PICO G3 visor is equipped with extremely reliable hardware and security features, thanks to the SoC with ARM Trustzone technology and advanced Kernel security. It is able to provide support for a wide range of Android-based cryptocurrencies, as well as computer security of calculations and algorithms. PICO G3 offers a stable online service thanks to enhanced infrastructure, secure data transmission and storage, and a wide range of software and business platforms that are part of the visor’s overall security system. All updates, patches and incident responses are easily managed through clear policies, procedures and provisions.
The PICO G3’s sharp, full HD resolution is achieved through a set of Fresnel lenses, which reduce the effects of distortion and dispersion and correct the ‘halo’ caused by scattered light, a common effect when using normal Fresnel lenses in a dark environment. The visor’s high-density display combines with 4K resolution to offer unique image depth, clarity and fluidity. Finally, the 3-position IPD adjustment allows for a clearer image that reduces dizziness and eye fatigue. Thanks to the G3’s lenses, users can enjoy immersive audiovisual and visual experiences without being disturbed by glare.
The PICO G3 is designed to be light and comfortable and allow the use of glasses without any additional pressure on the face, making it even more inclusive for users who need prescription glasses. The device is designed with a balanced shape: the HMD is placed on the front, and the battery case is on the rear. The face pad is removable, so all headset components can be cleaned and sanitized after use.
