Web3: Back to school month is here, and I couldn’t be more excited! As I have mentioned in previous editorials, September is the beginning of new projects, and maybe I have had this habit from my school years. Also, it is a good month as kids return to school, and mamas can have some free kids’ time.
The last weekend of August found myself visiting Belgrade, Serbia, attending a fantastic Web3 event called Idemo Bre! Having never been to Serbia before, I have to say that I was amazed by the beautiful city of Belgrade and of course all the kind, friendly and hospitable people I met!
It was the first conference workshop for idemo bre, and 4i-Magazine was one of the sponsors. It is run by Dajana Ko, founder of Idemo bre and DK Advisors Management.
Web3
The event started on a river cruise on a Friday night; for all the guests, there was a white dress code. Networking was the key to this party; many people from the Web3 world were discussing how they got involved and how they wanted to develop what they were doing.
I had the chance to meet Aléksa Mil in person, Managing Director of WACEO, and Aleksandra Marić, Web3 Fashion & Luxury Expert. Natasa Popovic, Web3 & NFT Consultant. Victoria Pallot, CEO of XRdoge and Musicia. Zlatan Osmanagic, Web3 Marketing Expert. Daniela C. Merlano, Mindful Web3 Expert. Sefy Tofan, CEO of Olympus Assets.
Of course, those people are few of who I met, I met many more, and the plan is to start featuring each of them at 4i-Magazine.
The next day the conference and workshop took place—lots of exciting topics to hear and discuss, especially in the networking area. The main issue was educating people on Web3, especially how we can get more women involved in technology worldwide. So, there are lots of things coming up from the team in Belgrade, and not only.
The key topics that were discussed at the panels:
- Building an Ethical Metaverse
- Capital Raising, Tokenomics, & The Bear Marketing
- The Future of Gaming in Blockchain
- Web3 Security Risk Mitigation
- Community as a Driving Force
- Scaling your Web3/NFT Project Strategically
Mark my word; this community is building something solid and stable. This and next year, many conferences and workshops are coming to make people aware of Web3 and its ethical use. Serbia is one of the countries you should have in mind that is growing within this sector, and amazing things will happen. I am supporting the Web3 community and all the communities that want to educate people and bring them into this fantastic world of technology.
I am looking forward to attending more events like this!
