Easter gadgets for travelling

Easter gadgets: The onset of spring and the arrival of Easter, on the other hand, represent the ideal time to enjoy a short holiday, which is useful for disconnecting from everyday stress and dedicating oneself to personal well-being. The season and the weather allow you to choose between a trip to the lake, a hike in the mountains, walks on the trails, or one or more nights on a campsite. In short, there are many possibilities, and the important thing is to arrive prepared and bring with you the technology you may need for any outdoor activity. Like the six devices, I list below.

Easter gadgets

Power Bank

Planning to be away from home for a few days means, first of all, having reserves to charge your electronic devices. In order not to run the risk of running out of power for smartphones, computers, tablets, smartwatches, headsets and all other devices, it is mandatory to rely on one or more power banks. The choice today is huge and for all tastes: you can buy one by looking at capacity, price, and the amount of devices it can recharge at the same time.

A good compromise is the power bank from Celly’s Pantone collection, which stands out with its 10,000 mAh capacity, two USB-A ports, a USB-C input-output port and a Micro USB port to charge up to 3 objects at the same time. Its lightweight plastic construction, weighing only 223 grams, and compact size of 14.2 x 6.9 x 1.6 centimetres make it easy to carry on your outdoor adventures. It’s currently on sale for €34.99, making it a cost-effective choice for your power needs.

Continuing the list with useful objects, it is often underestimated or overlooked, but a street lamp with an integrated solar panel proves valuable for several reasons. First, it ensures that you have a light source in any context, as it depends not on electricity but on the time of exposure to the sun needed to recharge the internal battery and power the LEDs. This 90W cordless model emits a powerful white light, equipped with a remote control twilight sensor and motion sensor. It only lights up at night, is waterproof, works in any environment, and can be fixed to a pole or other surface. It measures 63 x 25 x 7 centimetres, weighs 2.4 kg and costs €37.

GPS Tracker

Let’s take it up a level by talking about a semi-professional device, an adventure companion for those who enjoy trekking and excursions of a certain difficulty. However experienced you may be, the advice is to avoid setting off without a GPS device that allows you to get your bearings and find your way in case you get lost.

Garmin’s eTrex Solar is a good choice to guard against nasty surprises because it is easy to use and has a long autonomy, about 200 hours on a single solar charge. It has a 2.2-inch display, multi-band GPS support, provides automatic updates with descriptions and real-time weather forecasts, and functions as a digital compass even without GPS reception. Price: €279.99.

Smartwatch

Improvements in form and autonomy have relaunched smartwatches, and when walking in the mountains or going camping, it is a good idea to wear a watch on your wrist. Preferably a smart one. Because you can count on a host of useful information to plan your schedule for the day, apart from the most popular brands, several brands offer a catalogue of smartwatches that are excellent at combining performance, quality, and price.

One of these is Amazfit, which allows you to choose from more than fifteen series based on different product features. The T-Rex Pro is not the newest model in the catalogue, but it remains an excellent solution for those who want to go hiking. It supports four global navigation satellite systems, is water-resistant to a depth of 10 ATM, measures oxygen saturation in the blood, integrates a weather detector, a sunrise and sunset monitor, a compass and a barometric altimeter, and has a battery life of 18 days. An exceptional ally on the wrist can be purchased on promotion for €109.90.

Portable Speaker

Even if short, a holiday requires relaxation and fun. Here, too, technology comes to the rescue with two options that appeal to the vast majority of people: a portable speaker for listening to music, but also podcasts and audiobooks, and a mini projector with which to spend time watching whatever you like. In the first case, the JBL store ensures that you can find the solution to any request, as it combines sound audio reproduction with speakers of various sizes and materials, thus with different weights, bulk and cost. They range from €34.99 to €599.99, with multiple choices in the various price ranges.

Mini Projector

For the portable projector with WiFi and Bluetooth, one option to evaluate is the Xgimi MoGo 2, which is easy to install, weighs 1.1 kg and has two 8W speakers compatible with Dolby Audio. Quiet, space-saving and aesthetically pleasing, it is based on Android TV and can use apps from the Play Store. It costs €299
