Cybersecurity Month – Note from the Editor in Chief

Women in Tech Award

Happy Cybersecurity awareness month!

Let pumpkin spice season begin! October is known for the pumpkin season and Halloween, but there is another excellent reason to love this month. Cybersecurity awareness month is real!

It’s Easy to Stay Safe Online — See Yourself in Cyber

The team of 4i-Magazine has prepared a series of articles, interviews, video interviews, and many exciting things for you to read and share on your social media!

Another exciting thing is that we have prepared for you live professional discussions with essential leaders in the cybersecurity world. Together we will discuss topics such as

  • How to Intelligently Prioritize and Predict your Third-Party Risk, discussion with Courtney Cohen, Senior Director of Product, CyberGRX
  • The Costs of poor API Protection and Common Pitfalls Discussion with Neil Weitzel, Manager of the ThreatX Security Operations Center

More details will follow on our social media.

It is a must to raise awareness on protecting ourselves from cyberattacks. It is very common nowadays for people to have their bank and social media accounts hacked. In many cases, the ‘cybervictims’ are elderly people unaware of the meaning of cybersecurity. We owe to those people to explain and protect them. As well as teenagers and kids. As a mum of 2 little boys, I am trying to keep control of their watching online because even at a very young age, kids have access to online cartoons and kids’ series. They need to be taught what to be aware of and not to speak to strangers. What we are telling them in the real world needs to be told even in the digital world, especially now that Metaverse is coming more into our lives.

Women in Tech Award

Another great reason we want to celebrate is that 4i-Magazine was nominated for an award from Women in Tech. We are nominated for the WomenTech Community Award; help us to raise awareness by clicking here and sharing the link on your Socials.
