August – Note from the Editor in Chief

Let’s talk about remote working. What does remote working means?

It means that someone can work from the comfort of their home or when travelling, it also means that someone can have more than one remote jobs.

Most likely if someone is working remotely, can choose the hours of work. Which means that productivity is at its highs, as many people have different productive hours.

In my last note, I asked a question, whether the new remote roles are here to stay. My personal opinion is yes! The reason is productivity! I do believe that people are more productive when they create or choose the environment they want to work in. At least this is what is happening to me. I am happy working from home, or from a cafe or on a plane etc. I am happy that I can spend more time with my family and be able to decide, which hours during the day I want to work. Which hours I feel more productive. To be honest what all the employers need? They need the work to be done right. A good employer won’t mind whether someone is writing a report during day time or after hours. What an employer needs from his/her team is efficiency, creativity and productivity.
