X CEO Linda Yaccarino loses top lieutenant Joe Benarroch

By Disha Mishra in Bengaluru

(Reuters) – X Corp. Chief Executive Officer Linda Yaccarino’s head of business operations, Joe Benarroch, is leaving the company, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Benarroch held significant sway as an adviser to Yaccarino, including overseeing corporate communications, WSJ said, citing his former employees.

X did not immediately respond to a Reuters’ request for comment.

Before joining X in June 2023, Benarroch worked at Comcast Corp’s NBCUniversal, where he oversaw communication strategy for its advertising and partnerships division, reporting to Yaccarino, who was advertising chief there.

Benarroch is known as a hard-charging executive. His style has rubbed colleagues the wrong way at both NBCUniversal and X, the report added, citing people who worked with him.
