Meet the company: Huawei in Milan

We all know Huawei Technologies, the Chinese multinational company that is a global leader in the telecommunications industry and offers a wide range of products, including smartphones, computers and tablets. But we know very well that Huawei is not only this but much more. During the last year, the company achieved almost 100 billion US dollars; Huawei has more than 207.000 employees, and 55% of them work in R&D. This means that the company places paramount importance on innovation and the continuous search for technologies that help persons and organizations overcome their daily challenges. For example, Huawei has enriched its portfolio with new Wi-Fi 7 Access Points and multi-GE Switches that can adapt to any scenario.

To meet the new requirements and changes triggered by the digital transformation of enterprises, the company is proposing a next-generation campus network building concept, i.e., a truly high-quality 10Gbps campus or enterprise network solution that is based on four criteria: ultra-high-speed access via Wi-Fi 7 access points, simplified architecture, automated and simple O&M, and optimal user experience. In today’s digital economy, data is a critical and strategic asset for every organization, and as data applications grow, so does the need for a secure and reliable data infrastructure.

Huawei’s OceanStor series storage unlocks new levels of intelligence and power that reside in data, offering converged and flexible storage solutions that boast the power and reliability needed to achieve green, sustainable and future-oriented development goals. Then, Huawei’s Fiber To The Office (FTTO) solution, which revolutionizes network transmission media, architecture, and O&M, helps customers create smart campus networks with ultra-high bandwidth and energy savings. We discussed this and much more with Alexandre Grandeaux, CTO at Huawei Enterprise Italy and Stefano Andreotti, Channel Sales Director at Huawei Enterprise Italy.
